Life can feel like a roller coaster at times. Some days are all sunshine and rainbows, and other days tornados and flash floods. It can feel difficult to get a grip when we’re riding the roller coaster, holding on for dear life, hoping our seat belt will hold out. I’ve been thinking all week what to write for Mother’s Day. Nothing felt right. Too many overused cliches and sentiments. Then this. Of all the words I’ve ever learned, none have had the magnitude and impact as one simple phrase.
Saying thank you, and actually meaning it, doesn’t come naturally. At least it hasn’t always for me. Heck, it’s still a struggle at times. It is part of our nature to want more, to do more, to want to achieve more. Continue reading “The Two Most Powerful Words”
